Prep-ARE ("we," "us," or "our") is an online study platform designed to help architecture candidates prepare for the Architect Registration Examination (ARE) 5.0. Our platform provides practice quizzes, mock examinations, and supplemental study materials for all six ARE 5.0 divisions.
Prep-ARE is an independent study resource and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected to the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), the American Institute of Architects (AIA), or any state or provincial architectural licensing authority.
Use of Prep-ARE does not guarantee that you will pass any division of the ARE 5.0 or obtain an architectural license. Exam performance depends on many individual factors including prior knowledge, practical experience, study habits, test-taking ability, and familiarity with primary source materials.

Prep-ARE's mock examinations and practice questions are original content created independently by our team. They are designed to be familiar in style and format to what candidates might expect at a Prometric testing center, based on publicly available NCARB guidelines and candidate experience reports.
We make no claim that our content exactly replicates, reproduces, or is otherwise identical to actual ARE examination questions. Question difficulty, format, and content weighting may differ from the actual examination. Prep-ARE content should not be interpreted as a preview of, or substitute for, the actual examination.
All content on Prep-ARE — including but not limited to practice questions, answer explanations, mock examination content, quiz structures, written descriptions, design elements, graphics, and the software underlying the platform — is the exclusive property of Prep-ARE and its creators, and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use Prep-ARE content solely for your personal, non-commercial study purposes. You may not:
Unauthorized use of our content may result in immediate termination of your account and may expose you to legal liability. We actively monitor for misuse of our intellectual property.
Access to Prep-ARE requires a paid monthly subscription. By subscribing you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis at the rate displayed at the time of purchase. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
During our early access period, the subscription rate is $25 per month. This rate may change in the future. We will notify you by email at least 30 days before any pricing changes take effect, and you may cancel before the new rate applies.
Subscriptions automatically renew each month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access until that date. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
You may not create accounts for others, share your account, or use the platform in any way that violates these terms or applicable law. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are found to be in violation of these terms, without refund.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Prep-ARE and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the platform — including but not limited to failure to pass any examination, loss of professional opportunity, or reliance on any content provided through the service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of Prep-ARE shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Prep-ARE in the three months preceding the claim.
Prep-ARE is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We collect and use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using Prep-ARE you consent to the collection and use of your information as described therein. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you by email. Your continued use of Prep-ARE after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which Prep-ARE operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
